Research

Research and conservation in succulent plants by members of the IOS is centred in the main succulent plant families such as Agavaceae, Aloaceae, Cactaceae, Crassulaceae, Portulacaceae, Talinaceae and other botanical groups.

Membership

Applications for Personal Membership shall be submitted on an official form provided by the Secretary or downloaded from the IOS website.

History

The International Organization for Succulent Plant Study (IOS) was established in 1950 to promote the study of succulent and allied plants and to encourage international cooperation amongst those interested in them.
